Your /rank is as worthless, pointless and annoying as those Kurzick/Luxon titles you despise. So you HA a lot? It proves nothing about you or your abilities, which you should damn well know, given how many r9+ scrubs you must have encountered in HA. Oh, and the reason most people still think your /rank is worthwhile? Most of humanity is mindbogglingly stupid, and GW players are no exception.

You're the one who mentioned your /rank as being important, not me. All I was doing is pointing out exactly why it's not. Ability comes before /rank. Many in the GW community who started early in the game are nothing special in pvp terms and yet have very high rank. Many R9's basically IWAY their way there. /Rank is not the determinant of a good or even average player, though it is understandably valued by those who earned it the right way.

Also, I have to give you kudos for patience waiting for teams in HA @ low ranks, and actually playing with some of those people. I just don't have the patience for that.

I agree, but there's a lot of players who don't take that in consideration. They see you're lower ranked, will rank you, tell you you're a noob without them even seeing what you've done, and you what THEY have done... and take this to their advantages.

I remember running with R9 Hero guy who sucked at the PvE part of the game, but kept saying that everyone else sucked but him in the team (typical mending wammo mentality). And I meet those condescending people every now and then; not as much because I don't PUG as much. A R6 orders in my ToPK group who refused to use self-healing, claiming the monk should have his back constantly, telling us how much he had done orders in HA groups and whatnot... ABs where I see a lot of rank flashing when someone kills another... my old r7 GL who kept playing with her friends instead of her guildies because we were "PvE noobs", etc.

I can recognize high titles when I see them - If you're a good player, good! If not, don't start saying how everyone else sucks to boost your ego because you have a high Hero rank. You're in my team and not doing a good job in it... well I won't give a crap about your R9.

I was sharing my personal experience - and the personal experience was about most of the PvPers that I've met are trash talkers. I did not say that all PvPers are like that. I am saying that the ones I met are rude and immature. Understand it now?

I can't believe that this thread hasn't been closed yet. All I see is 2 sides that will never agree with each other, with people on each side who refuse to try and understand each other. This isn't an international crisis it's a game which is supposed to been fun.

Shuuda is right, you are arguing your view that pvpers are elitist bastards. Every bit of 'evidence' you have put forth villinizes the pvp playerbase and makes pve players look sweet and innocent.

Odd that grouping in PvE is worse than grouping in PvP. In PvP at least there are pugs forming in HA/TA. In PvE you dont even see that for 99% of the game.

As for saying R9s have IWAYed thier fame, I have 10k of fame, only 1k of that I played bspike for, thats 9k fames from balanced.

As for being elitist trash talkers, I kick people from my guild/teams for trash talking, so nope, your wrong there.

And before this degenerates further into a rank discrimiation thread as its starting to, rank doesnt mean anything, I dont care how good you are, or if you are r13+. If a player doesnt have a brain to help win a match, then he is no better than an unranked player or low ranked player that has never seen maps past unholy temples. Intelligence + Experience is what matters. Not just experience.
